Dots pricing and availability
Your first dot is included with ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium at no extra cost. Dots are not available on Free or Plus at launch.

What is included
Your plan includes the dot itself, available 24/7, plus an allowance for deeper work. OpenAI says limits are extended for the first month after launch.
What counts toward your limits
- Conversations with your dot do not count toward ChatGPT usage limits.
- Tasks your dot starts or manages in Codex or ChatGPT Work count toward limits as usual.

OpenAI also introduced Pro 500, its highest usage tier at 25× the Plus allowance, including the Ultrafast speed tier. Bloomberg reported it as a new $500 plan. OpenAI has not said Pro 500 changes what dots include. More in the DevDay recap →

Are OpenAI dots free?
The first dot is included at no extra cost with ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium. It is not available on the free plan at launch.
Can I buy more than one dot?
Not yet. OpenAI says you will be able to add more dots in the future.
